Halloween!
As for the rest of us. I am just in the never ending search for a new house and still trying to get the house in Phoenix sold. It is a never ending battle I'm afraid. As for Brandon, he's just working away so that when we finally sell our house, we can buy a new one!
I have tried to attach some pictures from Halloween, but for some reason it is not letting me, so I guess if I can figure it out, I'll post them later.

Introducing Our Newest Addition, McKenzie May Marlor!
Well, she is finally here and the following is the story of her birth! I was induced on Monday, August 25th and arrived at the hospital about 9:30. It took quite a while to get me all hooked up to everything and it was about 11:00 before I was hooked up to the Pitocin to start contractions. At 1:30 my doctor came in to break my water and I had only progressed to 2 cm. I was thinking we were going to be in it for the long haul! Well, luckily, I was wrong. About 2 hours later I was to a 4 and about another 2 hours after that I was to a 7. I asked for the epidural around the time I was 4 cm. I wasn't in a TON of pain, but I figured I would probably end up with one in the end, so I would save myself the agony. Right after the nurse checked me and I was 7 I started shaking really bad and she said I was in transition. Thirty minutes later, I was to a 10 and it was time to push. My doctor came in and within 4-5 pushes, she was out! This time was SO different and so much easier than with Burton. With Burton I could not feel ANYTHING, my epidural was SO strong. This time I could move my toes and I could feel all the pressure of her coming down, but no pain. I never believed people when they said they could feel that pressure because I literally felt nothing with Burton, but I much prefer it this way and I could actually feel to push. McKenzie entered the world at 5:40 p.m. (only 4 hours after my water was broken) and she weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 20 inches long. She has a head full of dark hair and is such a sweetheart. We came home on Wednesday the 27th and we are both doing very well. My recovery seems to be much easier this time too. Maybe everything is just easier the second time around! Burton has been really good for the most part and loves to give her kisses. We are just so glad she is here and feel so blessed to have 2 beautiful, healthy children.

Anxiously Waiting
As for Burton, he is as good as ever and just makes me smile and laugh every day. I hope he does okay once the baby is here. It will be hard to divide my time between two, but everybody does it, right?
Well, hopefully the next time I post will be to announce our new arrival!

Finally, an update!
So, as most of you know, my son is obsessed with trains and especially loves Thomas the Tank Engine. So when Thomas came to Heber, of course we had to go see him. I must say I was quite disappointed and thought the train ride was really stupid (10 mins down the track at 5 MPH and back), but Burton loved it of course! Here are a few pictures from our "Day out with Thomas".
As for the rest of us, we are just plugging along, taking everything day to day. We have an offer on our house and have applied for a short sale, so it's just up to the bank at this point as to whether or not they accept the offer. We are praying they will, so we can just be done with it and finally get our own place here. Oh, I did turn 30 this last Friday too! Holy cow, I can't believe I'm 30! We only have about 4 weeks left before Makenzie gets here too, my how time flies! So, there you go, it's not a very exciting update, but at least it's an update. I'll try to do better going forward.

Poor, poor Burton

Mothers Day
Burton is such a jabberbox lately and he cracks me up with some of the things he says. My favorites right now are "couple days" and "what's that noisy?". The voice he says it in makes it that much cuter though. He also has started calling the baby Kenzie, so I guess we have no choice now, but to name her Makenzie!
Well, it's really late for me, so I better be getting to bed.

Well, here goes nothing!
Right now we are living in Utah, with my parents, until we can sell our home in Phoenix and find a house here. We have one adorable little boy who is 2 and a little girl on the way, due in August.
